About the role
The Senior Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team, providing clinical leadership and high-quality services to patients/clients of the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) in order to meet health and wellbeing needs.
This position is responsible to lead and deliver renal dietetic services across the southern sector of WNSWLHD including outreach clinics.
The successful applicant will use advanced clinical dietetic skills and knowledge to provide dietetic services to people with kidney disease, their families and carers, utilising evidence-based nutrition interventions.
This position is based at Orange Health Service and involves some travel to provide outreach clinics in the southern sector of WNSWLHD. Flexible work arrangements may be available in line with service requirements and WNSWLHD policies.
You will be part of a supportive and collaborative Nutrition & Dietetics team and work closely with a full-time renal dietitian and the broader multidisciplinary renal team. You will provide leadership and clinical support to colleagues and contribute to education and mentoring activities.
