Excellent opportunity for a risk and compliance professional who enjoys working across governance, risk, policy management, child safety, workplace health and safety, and regulatory compliance within a purpose-driven environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation's governance, compliance, and risk management activities. You will ensure compliance obligations are met, maintain critical systems and records, coordinate training and documentation requirements, and support a broad range of operational and governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage compliance, policy, risk, and visitor management systems
- Support Child Safe compliance requirements and associated governance processes
- Coordinate compliance activities relating to events, excursions, camps, and external providers
- Maintain policies, procedures, registers, and compliance documentation
- Support regulatory obligations including OHS, contractor management, and audit requirements
- Coordinate mandatory staff training programs including Child Safety, Mandatory Reporting, First Aid, Fire Safety, and Workplace Health & Safety
- Support employee onboarding, inductions, placements, and compliance checks
- Assist with governance reporting and administrative support for senior leadership
- Monitor compliance activities and identify opportunities for process improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Experience in compliance, risk, governance, HR, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, risk management principles, and regulatory obligations
- Knowledge of Child Safe Standards, privacy requirements, and workplace health and safety obligations
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder relationships effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
