We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef or Cook to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business. This full-time role is suited to candidates who enjoy bulk cooking and take pride in delivering quality meals in a structured and supportive team environment.

Role Location

HMAS Penguin, Mosman NSW

Your responsibilities will include

Preparing high quality buffet style meals across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events

Maintaining catering standards and following OH&S and HACCP requirements

Supporting kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries and storage

Monitoring food quality, presentation and portion control

Working as part of a team to deliver consistent service

What we’re looking for

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant experience

Previous experience in commercial kitchens or bulk catering environments

Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management

Attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation

Reliable, team focused and able to work in structured environments

Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearance
