12-Month Contract + Extensions

$950 - $1,100 per day inclusive of Super + GST

We're partnering with a leading Australian organisation undergoing a major transformation program and are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join a high-performing technology team.

This role sits across multiple delivery squads and will play a critical role in managing releases for key Tier 0 applications, including a large-scale Hybris platform. In addition to release management responsibilities, you will lead performance testing initiatives across a diverse technology landscape and manage a team of Performance Test Engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across complex enterprise environments, driving quality outcomes, and engaging with senior stakeholders across engineering and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate major application releases across Hybris and other critical Tier 0 systems
• Plan, schedule and oversee production deployments, including occasional out-of-hours
• Lead performance testing activities across a range of applications, technologies and architectures
• Manage and mentor a team of Performance Test Engineers
• Collaborate closely with QA and Engineering Chapter Leads to ensure quality and delivery objectives are met
• Identify, manage and mitigate release risks and dependencies
• Drive continuous improvement across release management and performance testing practices
• Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders across the organisation

You will be an experienced Release Manager with a strong understanding of enterprise-scale environments and a proven track record delivering complex releases. You'll also bring leadership experience within performance testing and a collaborative approach to stakeholder management.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing releases within large enterprise environments
• Strong performance and load testing experience across complex systems
• Experience leading and developing Performance Testing teams
• Understanding of modern application architectures and distributed systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple delivery streams
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Excellent planning, coordination and risk management capabilities
