CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST & CLINICAL REGISTRAR - TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Australian Institute for Human Wellness is dedicated to helping improve the lives of individuals and communities.

We are seeking a clinical psychologist and a clinical psychology registrar to join our team of eight clinicians. We are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals who are passionate about providing evidence-based psychological therapy.

We are currently hiring for both the Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar positions. IMMEDIATE START available.

This sub-contracting role would suit someone looking for part time work. Flexible working hours and days are available.

We provide five newly renovated consulting rooms and a group therapy room in the heart of St George health services, referrals, supervision, administration support, internet and telephone access, practice management software, and marketing services.

Selection Criteria:

• Registration with AHPRA
• Demonstrated skills in and a commitment to providing a broad range of evidence-based psychological interventions including CBT
• Demonstrated experience in providing psychological services to children, adolescents and/or adults
• New graduates are accepted for the registrar position
• Able to function autonomously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisation and time management skills
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Willing to work with children and adolescents
• Working with Children Check is required before starting in this role

Desirable:

• Training in providing eating disorder treatments
• Willing to work with neurodivergent children and adults neurodivergence
• Willing to see children and adolescents for therapy interventions
• Willing to run group therapy programs, particularly DBT groups
• Trained in and able to provide DBT, ACT, EMDR and/or Schema Therapy
• SIRA registered
• Willing to see clients under NDIS
