Design Draftsperson - ArchiCAD

An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented

Design Draftsperson to join a well established residential builder. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical drafting with high quality design presentation, playing a key role in bringing new home designs to life.

We're looking for someone with a strong eye for design who can produce both accurate residential documentation and impressive CGI visualisations.

The Role

• Prepare residential drawings from concept through to construction documentation.
• Produce high quality CGI renders, walkthroughs and presentation material for marketing and design purposes.
• Prepare documentation for DA, CDC and construction approvals.
• Ensure designs comply with NSW planning controls, Council requirements and the NCC.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and consultants to coordinate design changes and approvals.
• Assist in maintaining high drafting and documentation standards across the design team.

About You

• Previous experience in residential drafting within the home building industry.
• Strong knowledge of NSW planning requirements, including DA and CDC pathways.
• Advanced ArchiCAD skills are essential.
• Proven experience producing high quality CGI imagery and 3D visualisations.
• Tertiary qualification in Architecture or Building Design.
• Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is $80K - $95K + Super (depending on experience).
