Kellyville Private Hospital is seeking a Career Medical Officer (CMO) to join our dedicated medical team on a subcontractor basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor with an interest in mental health to work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team in a supportive private hospital environment.

The Opportunity

• Part-time subcontractor position
• Mondays and Tuesdays
• $130 per hour (inclusive of superannuation)
• Supportive and collaborative medical team

About the Role

Working closely with our Consultant Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality inpatient medical care and support the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing medical assessment and ongoing care for inpatients.
• Managing admissions, reviews and discharges in collaboration with Consultant Psychiatrists.
• Responding to medical concerns and clinical deterioration.
• Liaising with nursing staff, allied health professionals and external providers.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Participating in quality improvement and clinical governance activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• An interest in mental health and working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative, patient-centred approach to care.
