Operations Coordinator

Powervolt is a solar and battery installer covering Greater Sydney, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley. We're in a strong growth phase and need an Operations Coordinator to join our small, close-knit team.

Full-time, hybrid. One day a week in the office (Erina on the Central Coast or our Sydney office space, whichever suits you) and the rest working from home. $65k to $80k plus super, depending on experience.

This role sits right in the middle of our business. Once a sale comes in, you'll take it from signed contract through to a compliant, invoiced, fully approved job. You'll be the person making sure nothing falls through the cracks between our sales team and our install crews.

What you'll be doing:

• Raising and managing invoices in Xero
• Submitting network connection applications with Ausgrid and other DNSPs
• Loading and managing jobs in Green Deal
• Preparing and lodging STC applications
• Logging installations on the AEMO DER Register
• Chasing down missing paperwork, certificates and compliance documents
• Keeping customers updated on where their job is up to
• Working closely with our install team and sales team to keep jobs moving

What we're looking for:

• Experience in solar, electrical, trades or renewable energy administration (highly regarded but not essential if you're a fast learner with strong systems skills)
• Comfortable working across multiple platforms and software packages
• Excellent attention to detail; you'll be dealing with compliance and money
• Strong communicator, confident on the phone with customers, installers and network providers
• Self-starter who can own a process end to end without needing to be chased
• Based on the Central Coast or in Sydney, with the flexibility to get into the office one day a week
