We’re seeking an ICT Support Officer based in Victor Harbour to deliver network and infrastructure upgrades across regional South Australia. This hands-on role involves travelling between sites, installing and supporting ICT hardware, troubleshooting Microsoft environments, and working with site managers and contractors to improve connectivity. Ideal for an IT professional who enjoys autonomy, variety, and regular field work.

Responsibilities

• Travelling between sites across regional and metropolitan South Australia to deliver ICT infrastructure upgrades and improvements
• Coordinating and undertaking project administration activities to support consistent and secure network infrastructure
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware across multiple locations
• Providing technical administration for the delivery of improved ICT infrastructure
• Liaising with site managers, contractors, and external service providers to coordinate connectivity improvements
• Providing technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to documentation, reporting, audits, and reviews
• Supporting the ongoing review and improvement of ICT processes and solutions

Skills And Experience

• Experience supporting ICT infrastructure and network services in a Microsoft environment
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities across multiple sites
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a practical, get-it-done attitude
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills as you’ll be dealing with a wide range of people at each site
• Proven ability to pick up new technologies and tools quickly
• Experience with TCP/IP, networking, server and desktop hardware, network peripherals, and mobile devices
• High attention to detail with clear, concise reporting skills
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly
