KWA is a boutique building surveying practice working with some of Melbourne's leading architects, builders and developers on considered, high-end residential & commerical projects across Victoria. After more than thirty years we've built a strong reputation & a genuinely well-run, respected practice & we're growing, with a new HQ incoming. We're looking for an experienced building permit coordinator professional to manage the end to end project experience.
The role. Reporting directly to the Managing Director & working alongside the leadership team. You'll own the administrative and compliance arm of our practice.
What you'll own
- Preparing & drafting building permits for issue, processing project amendments, CFIs and Occupancy Permits.
- Coordinating mandatory inspections - bookings, reports and contract inspectors scheduling.
- Statutory and compliance reporting - BAMS lodgements, permit lapse flows and building enforcement management.
- Accounts receivable & the day-to-day financial running of the practice.
- The systems, SOPs and standards that keep the whole operation consistent & on target.
- General office management, scheduleing and deliverables.
