Role Summary
We are seeking a forward-thinking Brand & Communications Specialist to influence and shape the future of our architectural brand & communications. In this role, you will work closely with our Executive Strategy & Communications Lead, using your creative & strategic skills to create impact and continue to evolve our brand.
You will be joining a fast-paced organisation that is a global leader in shaping social infrastructure in the built environment. Our team of architects, interior designers, and master planners share the ethos ‘Design for a healthy world – it starts with us’.
You will be an energetic and strategic professional with a passion for design and communications, who can work independently, be organised, and enjoy the challenge of working with a diverse team of people.
This position is based in Sydney.

Responsibilities Include
- Develop and implement Brand and Communications strategies across multiple channels including digital, print, media, sponsorship, and events
- Manage digital marketing tools and social media platforms
- Manage high-quality content creation for the business
- Develop generative AI processes internally, enhancing creativity & efficiency
- Write briefs, co-ordinating media and PR opportunities with external consultants
- Manage conference content, creating presentations, videos and speaker notes for thought leaders
- Manage annual signature brand event and others for engagement & awareness
- Manage relationships with other comms teams in government, stakeholders, and sponsorship partners
- Work closely with the design teams to ensure that all communications are aligned with the company’s work and expertise
- Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns
- Generate and provide data analytics & reporting for ongoing improvement of communications
- Be an internal brand champion at BLP
Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field, and / or architecture, interiors degree with a flair for communication
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience, ideally within the architecture, design or construction industries, or aligned
- Strong knowledge and experience of purpose-led integrated communications strategies
- Experience with a wide range of AI tools, digital marketing tools and channels
- Strong writing and editing skills with great attention to detail
- Familiarity with graphic design and layout principles, experience working with graphic designers, and ability with Adobe Creative Suite and strong knowledge of social media tools
- Demonstrated ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced and flexible team environment, juggling multiple projects to get the job done
- Strategic mindset with solid project management experience
- Passion and understanding of the health and wellbeing space
- Interest in Architecture, Design and Social Impact
