Lab3 is one of the largest Azure engineering practices in the Australasia region with a focus on Cloud & DevOps, Data, IoT & AI, Modern Workplace, Modern Apps & Integration, Security, and Network services.

We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager based in Brisbane to look after clients in that region.

The Role

  • Day to day, you'll manage, lead and influence technical project teams, vendors, partners and clients to deliver effective project outcomes whilst managing risk, issues, and quality of the deliverables.
  • Work with (and influence) stakeholders to achieve satisfactory client and project outcomes all whilst identifying opportunities, working collaboratively, and managing your projects to deliver client strategic outcomes.
  • You'll act with minimum supervision to prepare, maintain, and track progress of project schedules, scope, resource forecasts, and project finances whilst driving delivery of defined roadmaps within commercials.
  • It's paramount that you understand how to mature agile deliverables and adapt through the adoption of appropriate hybrid and waterfall methodologies as per individual environments, embedding application of Scrum, Agile, Kanban & DevOps frameworks across projects.
  • Initiate, facilitate and lead client workshops that support the definition of non-functional and functional requirements.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of our team frameworks, practice structure, governance, reporting, processes, and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate

  • You are a Senior Project Manager with a successful track record of delivering technology projects within complex enterprise environments with high levels of process, complexity and governance.
  • Experience delivering large scale Azure infrastructure, data or security projects leveraging IaC (Terraform) and DevOps technologies is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to translate complex & technical requirements into business outcomes
  • Vendor background: You understand the complexities of delivering to a client and can be flexible with changing priorities.
  • High competency in using Jira, burn down reports and budget reporting
  • Based in Brisbane you will be expected to be onsite with the client a minimum of 2 days per week.
