Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Specialist Engineers to join a high-profile government program focused on delivering a modern enterprise data platform that supports secure, data-driven decision making across classified environments. Working across both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, you will play a key role in the ongoing operation, sustainment and enhancement of a critical platform, ensuring it remains secure, reliable and fit for purpose. This is an opportunity to contribute to a technically complex environment alongside a highly skilled engineering team.

Key Duties

• Operate, support and sustain a large-scale enterprise data platform across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Monitor and maintain platform stability, availability and performance.
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide specialist engineering expertise.
• Implement minor platform enhancements and support ongoing sustainment activities.
• Ensure platform security, compliance and risk requirements are met within classified environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver operational outcomes.
• Provide authoritative technical advice and contribute to engineering decisions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform reliability and operational effectiveness.

Skills And Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience with Cloudera, Neo4j and InfoArchive.
• Strong experience supporting and sustaining complex enterprise platforms across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Sound understanding of security, risk and compliance requirements within highly secure environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and specialist engineering advice.
• Current Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) Security Clearance is essential.
