Gawk Outdoor is a rapidly growing outdoor advertising company specialising in the development and operation of billboards across regional Australia. Founded in 2018, we are expanding and seeking a high-calibre Director – Expansion Markets to drive our ambitious growth strategy.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Founder/Director, you will be a key member of the senior executive team responsible for leading capital raising, strategic expansion, and business development. This newly created role is critical to our aggressive growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead capital markets and fundraising initiatives to support expansion
  • Oversee growth into new markets (site acquisition, partnerships, and operational setup)
  • Provide strategic leadership and high-level advice to the Board on development and commercial opportunities
  • Build and manage key stakeholder relationships with investors, financiers, and government bodies
  • Contribute to overall business strategy, risk management, and executive decision-making

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent senior experience)
  • 10–15+ years in senior executive, investment, or business development roles, ideally in real estate, infrastructure, renewables, or scaling businesses
  • Proven track record in capital raising and deploying significant funds (hundreds of millions)
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and experience in land acquisition or project development
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
