We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our team at Mount Druitt. This is an exciting opportunity for a safety-focused and reliable warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while contributing to an organisation that creates positive outcomes for people with disability.
About The Role
Reporting to the site leadership team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods across the facility.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Receiving, recording and storing incoming goods
- Supplying production areas with raw materials
- Storing, picking and loading finished goods
- Loading and unloading trucks using a counterbalance forklift
- Operating a high-reach forklift within double-deep racking systems
- Completing warehouse receiving, loading and safety documentation
- Maintaining accurate stock movements and warehouse records
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe always
- Identifying, reporting and contributing to the resolution of workplace hazards and safety concerns
- Supporting warehouse and production teams to meet operational targets
- Supervising a small team of 1-2 people
What You'll Bring
Essential Skills & Experience
- Current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience operating a high-reach forklift
- Proven experience working with double-deep racking systems up to four bays high
- Experience operating a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks
- Strong organisational, planning and prioritisation skills
- Experience completing warehouse and safety documentation accurately
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willing to obtain)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
- Experience working within the food manufacturing, warehousing or FMCG industry (highly desirable)
