We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Services Manager to lead the establishment and ongoing management of a high-performing People Services function. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional employee experiences, driving operational excellence, and implementing best-practice HR processes. Previous experience with Dayforce implementation is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of the People & Culture Shared Services function.
  • Establish and oversee core People Services including onboarding, payroll coordination, HR administration, reporting, and employee support.
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Dayforce HCM platform.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Produce meaningful workforce reporting and analytics to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities to improve employee experience and operational performance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing People Services team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, policies, and organisational standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver successful People & Culture initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience leading a People & Culture, HR Operations, or HR Shared Services function.
  • Proven experience establishing or transforming People Services or Shared Services teams.
  • Essential: Hands-on experience implementing and supporting the Dayforce HCM platform.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, onboarding, reporting, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading organisational change and system implementation projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using workforce data and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices.
