Recruitment Select is currently taking applications for a Quality Assurance Officer for one of our large manufacturing clients based in Benalla, Victoria. As a Quality Officer you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols, conducting audits, analysing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience within a manufacturing/testing environment is a MUST.

This position may start off as casual and dayshift hours will be offered (Monday-Friday, 6am-2.15pm). Pay rates will commensurate with experience.

Permanent positions may be available immediately for candidates who possess the necessary skills and experience - permanent positions include benefits such as; personal and annual leave, public holiday pay and 1 RDO a month (BENEFITS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CASUALS).

Job Duties

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
• Incoming inspection of supplies delivered to the plant.
• Calls for basic professional knowledge in application of working instructions, carrying out sequences of quality control operations.
• Applies predefined models for first level analyses.
• Ensures the compliance of a product or component to a set of specifications or a definition file.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform necessary checks as provided by the work instructions.
• Record results and declare the acceptance or rejection of the inspected product or component.
• Tag and segregate rejected products/ lots in accordance with procedures.
• Raise relevant quality information to SIM.
• Full compliance with local site safety rules and regulations, including completion of all relevant eLearning safety modules.
