Job Title: Exercise Physiologist (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Location: South Yarra, VIC
Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours/week) or Part-Time (minimum 30 hours/week)
ABOUT THE EP GROUP
The EP Group is a progressive Exercise Physiology practice based in South Yarra, operating since 2012. We are a tight-knit team of professionals committed to lifelong learning and maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment.
We are currently experiencing high demand across our referral channels, and our practitioners are at capacity. We are seeking a motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our team and contribute to our reputation for delivering high-value, evidence-based care.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about applying exercise-based treatment across a broad scope of conditions. Whether you are a recent graduate with a hunger for learning or an experienced EP seeking a supportive environment to develop your niche, we encourage you to apply.
This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse and interesting client populations, including:
- Clinical exercise services at a 110-bed Psychiatric Hospital
- Injury Prevention and Management services for a major Guitar Factory and Commercial Wharf operations in Melbourne
- Early Intervention wellness services for a large government department (Telehealth and face-to-face)
- A funded Exercise Oncology program for Young Onset Colorectal Cancer patients (in-clinic and online)
- Private clients across the rehabilitation and high-performance spectrum
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client Assessment & Treatment: Deliver high-quality initial and review consultations. Develop and implement evidence-based exercise interventions for a diverse caseload, including musculoskeletal conditions, mental health, cancer recovery, functional ageing, and high-performance programs.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear, professional communication with clients to ensure they remain informed, engaged, and confident in their treatment plans.
- Professional Development: Actively participate in coaching, team professional development sessions, and ongoing learning opportunities. Take ownership of your clinical growth and development.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior practitioners (combined 70+ years of EP experience) and the broader team to share knowledge and solve problems.
- Data & Reporting: Utilise our practice management systems to track client outcomes and contribute to team performance goals.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to client education and engagement by assisting with content creation (e.g., exercise videos) as part of our clinic's community outreach (full training provided).

ABOUT YOU
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
- Current registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) or capacity to acquire this in the next 3 months.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable:
- 12 months of relevant clinical experience (recent graduates with strong clinical placements and an eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply)
