Full Stack Engineer

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage candidates for below roles

1. Contract Duration: 36 months + 12months Extension
2. Work Location: Canberra (Hybrid)
3. Eligibility: Citizen (Baseline or above clearance candidates preferred) (candidate will undergo NV1 before start)
4. Working Hours: 7.5 hours a day/ 37.5 hours a week

List Of Roles

Key duties and responsibilities

The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated Department's personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Analyse very complex ICT business issues, applying expertise to identify and recommend design solutions;
• Creating new, and updating existing design artefacts with proposed changes;
• Creating new and updating existing User Interfaces and Interfaces;
• Implementation of proposed changes including liaising with testing, release management and operations teams;
• Assist in the development and documentation of technical design standards and work within those standards;
• Respond to reported problems, performing fault diagnosis, analysis and rectification tasks;
• Provide or assist in the analysis of enhancements as requested by business areas;
• Participate in code reviews;
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify their needs, reach agreement on the business objectives and gain commitment to achieving results.
• Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other teams.

As part of the services, the seller must ensure the specified personnel

• Maintains currency in information technology processes and technical knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Establishes and maintains effective business relationships and professional networks.
• Contributes to and implements improved ICT practices and procedures.
• Provides mentoring, coaching and training.
• Works effectively in a small team environment, and wider Command environment.
• Remains accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements, shares own expertise with others and guides and mentors less experienced buyer employees; and
• Records and maintains files/information in accordance with buyer requirements.

• Technical skills candidates would need to have (including but not limited to) are listed below:
• Full stack application development
• API and systems integration development
• Cloud-native and platform development
• DevSecOps and automation engineering
• Secure software development
