Design & Build Recruitment is searching for a skilled Project Coordinator with a thirst for knowledge and the motivation to continue progressing their career. Our client is a dynamic and innovative construction company specialising in commercial fit out projects within the Health, Defence, Office, Retail and Hospitality. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality results, we are looking assist them in expanding their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and site managers to plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Assist in procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite; Procore and Jobpac.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Knowledge of commercial fit out processes and construction methodologies is a plus.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination in commercial fit out projects.
- Experience using Procore and Jobpac.
- Previous experience in coordinating and managing construction projects will be highly regarded.
