Claims Specialist

The Procare Group is a leading national provider of insurance industry services of over 28 years, with services including Claims & Risk Management, Legal, Forensic Accounting, Injury Management, Investigations, Training & Recruitment.

We are very interested in speaking with experienced Commercial and Domestic Claims Specialists who ideally have a strong background in property or liability.

Duties

In this role you will be responsible for the end to end management of a portfolio of Claims with your duties including:

• Processing a variety of claims including complex and total loss ensuring all information is accurately documented
• Liaise with clients, legal experts, external service providers and recovery specialists
• Identifying improvement opportunities and implementing strategies to ‎enhance operational effectiveness
• Adherence to the GI COP, legislation and client guidelines
• Effectively negotiate and settle claims in a timely fashion while managing Client and Customer expectations
• Manage internal and external service provider costs

Essential Requirements

• Solid Property, Liability and/or Strata claims experience
• Experience dealing with high volumes workloads and the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Effective and professional communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of clients
• Customer focused attitude with the ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
