Multimedia Designer – Vocational Instructional Design

We are seeking a Multimedia Designer – Instructional Design to join our SHEQ Knowledge & Training team, supporting employees and contractors across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will design and develop innovative eLearning solutions that enhance capability, strengthen compliance, and contribute to a safer workplace.

What you will enjoy doing

  • Design and develop engaging multimedia learning solutions, including interactive eLearning modules, animations, videos, and digital learning assets
  • Apply instructional design methodologies to create learner-focused, effective, and visually engaging training experiences
  • Develop storyboards, prototypes, mock-ups, and multimedia content that support key business and safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate technical information into practical and engaging learning solutions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure learning content is accurate, effective, and aligned with business requirements
  • Contribute to learning and development initiatives that support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement

What makes you great

  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing adult learning programs and eLearning solutions
  • Experience creating multimedia content using a range of digital design and authoring tools including Articulate 360 and Synthesia and Storyline
  • Qualification in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Graphic Design, Communication, Learning & Development, or a related discipline
  • Experience developing competency-based training and assessment programs is desirable
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

This role offers a salary of $79,000–$85,000 plus superannuation, along with access to a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, development and work-life balance.
