About the Role
Join a passionate and progressive leadership team as an experienced Contracts Administrator in our Geelong Office, supporting the delivery of commercial construction projects during an exciting growth phase. You will manage the full contract lifecycle of projects, overseeing subcontract documentation, procurement coordination, variations, and compliance, while working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients. With the opportunity to step up and run smaller projects as a Junior PM, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional eager to grow their career in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities - Responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to;
· Manage and distribute all site drawings and project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and alignment across trades.
· Support on-site coordination of subcontractors to maintain program timelines and quality standards.
· Prepare, review, and issue subcontract agreements in line with project scope and budget.
· Assist in negotiating subcontract terms, pricing, and scope adjustments to protect commercial outcomes.
· Assess, price, and administer contract variations, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
· Oversee contract compliance, manage risks, and ensure obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
· Prepare and assess progress claims, monitor project cash flow, and support financial forecasting.
Skills and Experience - The successful candidate must have;
· Tertiary qualification in Construction Management
· Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry
· Strong written and verbal communication
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· High safety awareness (OH&S knowledge)
· A collaborative, proactive, and professional approach
· Cheops, Jobpack or similar construction software necessary
