About the Role
As a Demand Planner, you'll be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, optimising inventory and driving channel performance across assigned product categories and markets. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams, you'll use data and commercial insights to ensure the right products are available at the right time while supporting product launches, seasonal planning and ongoing business growth.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll combine analytical thinking with commercial decision-making to improve forecasting accuracy, maximise sales opportunities and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain monthly demand forecasts across assigned channels.
- Analyse sales trends, market data and commercial activity to improve forecast accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels and partner with Supply Chain teams on replenishment planning.
- Monitor trading performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Support range reviews, seasonal planning and go-to-market initiatives.
- Produce reporting and commercial insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations and key internal stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvements across planning processes and inventory performance.
What You'll Need
- 2–4 years' experience in demand planning, merchandise planning or a similar role.
- Experience within retail, FMCG or a multi-channel environment.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Experience using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly regarded.
- Exposure to planning systems such as SAP IBP or similar is advantageous.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
