Nurse Unit Manager

Linear Clinical Research is entering an exciting phase of growth, and we're investing in the leaders who will help drive our future. As part of our continued expansion, we're creating two new full-time Nurse Unit Manager positions—one within our Cancer Trials Unit (CTU) and one within our Early Phase Unit (EPU) both based at our clinical trial centre in Nedlands.

These newly created leadership roles will play a pivotal part in supporting the growth of our clinical operations, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of world-class clinical trials. Your Role in Our Future

As a Nurse Unit Manager, you'll lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, providing day-to-day operational leadership while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and exceptional participant care.

Working closely with medical, project and operational teams, you'll be responsible for ensuring clinical activities are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements and organisational standards. You'll also play an important role in building capability, planning resources and supporting the organisation's future growth objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing support to Senior Research Nurses to monitor clinic resources and assist in the development of contingency plans to prevent or minimise disruptions to clinical trials.
• Leading and support collaboration between the clinic team and other functions within Linear promoting information sharing and wider team engagement.
• Contributing to strategic initiatives that support organisational growth and future capability.
• Expenditure is monitored on a regular basis and variances against trial/study or staff budgets are communicated.
• Work in consultation with our medical team to ensure expert clinical knowledge is applied to make sound judgements and decisions about the participants safety and care.
• Promote a strong quality focus across all studies to ensure clinical trials are performed to a high standard and in accordance with GCP and applicable regulations and best practise standards.

Your Experience

You're an experienced healthcare leader with current AHPRA registration who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys balancing people leadership with operational excellence.

You'll bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
• Proven experience leading and developing clinical teams.
• Strong operational and workforce management skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• A collaborative leadership style and a passion for developing others.
• The ability to navigate change, solve problems and drive continuous improvement
