EOI - 2D Animation Directors

The Animation Director leads the Animation team, providing creative and strategic direction throughout the production process within the Harmony software environment. They are responsible for ensuring high-quality, consistent animation that aligns with the project's artistic vision, with a primary focus on elevating character movement and performance across the production.

Skills/Experience

• 7+ years of experience working in 2D animation and 5+ years experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding and demonstration of hand-drawn and/or rigged animation fundamentals.
• Ability to analyse and synthesise complex information and ideas.
• Consultative, collaborative, global working style.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, working effectively to deadlines.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite and Toon Boom Harmony
• Confident presentation and facilitation skills
• Able to lead a client-focused approach to deliver shows to their expected standards.
• Effective leadership and management of large teams.
• Written and verbal communication skills, ensuring that the necessary information is flowing across production and within the department.
• High degree of professionalism, maturity & initiative.
