Cabinet Maker Required | Commercial Joinery | South-West Sydney | Full-Time | $80K - $100K + Super (DOE)

Our client is a long-established, highly respected commercial joinery manufacturer delivering premium architectural joinery packages across commercial offices, hotels, healthcare, education, hospitality and luxury residential developments.

Operating from a modern manufacturing facility in South-West Sydney, they manufacture virtually all joinery in-house, combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced CNC manufacturing and high-quality finishing processes. Their reputation has been built over decades by consistently delivering exceptional workmanship on complex, bespoke projects for leading builders, architects and interior designers.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join their workshop team on a permanent full-time basis.

About The Role

This is a hands-on manufacturing position producing high-quality custom joinery for commercial fitouts and architectural projects throughout Sydney and interstate.

You will be working alongside an experienced team of cabinet makers, machinists and project staff manufacturing bespoke joinery to exact specifications, with an emphasis on quality, efficiency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture bespoke commercial joinery from workshop drawings
• Read and interpret technical and shop drawings
• Assemble cabinets, wall panelling, reception counters, feature joinery and custom furniture
• Work with laminate, veneer, solid timber, MDF, plywood and decorative board products
• Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of craftsmanship
• Carry out quality checks throughout production
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, project managers and fellow tradespeople
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards

About You

To be successful you will ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery or Shopfitting
• Previous experience manufacturing commercial joinery
• Ability to read and interpret detailed workshop drawings
• Experience assembling bespoke architectural joinery
• Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods
• Experience working with laminates, veneers and solid timber products
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Current driver's licence preferred
