Location: Adelaide SA

Salary: $75, 000plus superannuation based on years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operations of the café and ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Planning and organising dining service activities to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring revenue, controlling costs, and assisting with budgeting and financial performance.
  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering front-of-house staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and liquor licensing requirements.
  • Managing customer enquiries, feedback, and service recovery where required.
  • Monitoring stock levels and coordinating purchasing activities.
  • Working closely with kitchen staff to maintain food quality and service standards.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Assisting with promotional activities and business development initiatives.

Skills And Experience

  • Diploma level qualification or higher in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant management experience in a café or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Sound understanding of hospitality operations, budgeting, and staff management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
