About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Power Platform Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 ecosystem. You will deliver low-code applications, business process automation, analytics solutions, and platform governance while ensuring compliance with Australian Government security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Build and maintain Power Automate cloud and desktop (RPA) workflows.
- Design and manage Dataverse data models, security roles, business rules, and solution architecture.
- Develop interactive Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and paginated reports.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 modules, forms, workflows, dashboards, and business process flows.
- Integrate Power Platform and Dynamics 365 with external systems using Microsoft Graph API, Azure Integration Services, and custom connectors.
- Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using managed solutions, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and administer Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) and governance policies.
- Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and ensure compliance with ISM and Essential Eight security requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform:
- Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
- Power Automate
- Power BI
- Power Pages
- Expertise in Dataverse data modelling, security, business rules, plug-ins, custom connectors, and solution management.
- Experience configuring and customising Dynamics 365 (Customer Service, Field Service, or similar).
- Strong Power BI development skills including DAX, semantic models, Row-Level Security (RLS), deployment pipelines, and dataflows.
- Experience implementing Power Platform ALM, managed solutions, and Azure DevOps CI/CD.
- Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
- Understanding of ISM, Essential Eight, and Microsoft security best practices.
Desirable
- Microsoft Certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, PL-600, or PL-300.
- Dynamics 365 certifications (MB-210, MB-240, or equivalent).
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
Eligibility
- Active NV1 Security Clearance or willingness and eligibility to obtain one is essential.
