Job Description

  • End-to-End Solution Design capabilities (Westpac experienced – Nice to have)
  • Knowledge / experience with Westpac core systems (Vision plus) and enterprise data platforms ( ADAPT / DDEP / Data Mesh)
  • Mandatory hands‑on development experience in at least one backend language: Java or NET.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with RDBMS, including data modelling, stored procedures, complex SQL queries, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to work across the full technology stack, including ReactJS, AngularJS, Java, .NET, Node.js, relational databases, and Kafka topics/listeners.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event‑driven systems.
