The Influencer and Social Media Team drives the organisation’s online presence by creating engaging content, managing social channels, and developing relationships with influencers to expand reach and strengthen brand visibility. The team monitors trends, responds to audience activity, and analyses performance data to optimise campaigns and ensure consistent, high quality digital communication that supports organisational objectives.

About the role

The Social Media Lead owns the day-to-day performance and presence of Chemist Warehouse and Ultra Beauty across all social platforms, ensuring each channel is strategically distinct, consistently active, and optimised for reach, engagement and conversion. This role translates brand, supplier and campaign priorities into platform-specific publishing, community engagement and real time optimisation, while protecting channel health, audience trust and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Strategy & Execution
• TikTok: Trend-led content, discovery-focused formats and evergreen reach.
• Instagram: Promotional and educational content, mass-appeal moments and giveaways.
• Facebook: Health-led educational content, promotions and content tailored to an older demographic.
• Ensure all content is published with optimal timing, captions, formats and platform best practices.
• Translate broader marketing initiatives into channel-specific executions that maximise engagement and reach.

• Community & Insiders Growth
• Own the strategy and day-to-day management of the Insiders Group, including: Weekly conversation topics and engagement plans.
• Providing suppliers with priority access to competitions, sales and event-driven content.
• Identify and execute opportunities to grow loyalty, community engagement and member value.
• Build a strong sense of community identity and trust through consistent, meaningful interactions.
