The Opportunity

Reporting to the Reliability Planning Manager, this role will perform the maintenance planning processes including, routine preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, statutory compliance activities and major plant overhauls. You will provide input into the development of and lead the deployment of the business strategy which delivers plant reliability and year-on-year improvements in plant efficiency.

  • Develop maintenance works schedule ensuring efficient planning and utilisation of production windows and planned stoppages, prioritising the needs of safety, production, quality and logistics.
  • Ensure availability of parts required to complete works
  • Coordinate servicing of equipment and external contractors for specialist maintenance work
  • Partner with Engineering and Trades to implement improvements
  • Manage assets within the system, including creating new store items in MEX
  • Perform various administrative duties related to MEX system management
  • Perform store duties, involving tasks such as goods receival, continuous improvement initiatives, stocktake picking work order items, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
  • Other duties as reasonably requested

What You’ll Bring

You will be a self-starter who can work autonomously, who takes a pro-active approach to maintenance planning, to drive efficiencies. You will have strong communication skills with demonstrated rapport and relationship building both internally and externally. Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt.

  • Experience within a similar role, involving reliability stores and business administration
  • Experience running MEX or similar
  • Management of external service providers is desired but not essential
  • FMCG experience highly regarded
