Fund Operations Associate

We are seeking a Fund Operations Associate to support operations across Aoris’ Australian, Cayman Islands and UK funds. This role is full-time and based in our Sydney CBD office. You will be working alongside the Fund Operations Manager and Head of Operations and Finance, playing a key role in supporting business critical activities.

Role responsibilities include

Fund Operations - 80%

  • Trade lifecycle management
  • Unit pricing reviews
  • Unit registry oversight
  • Due diligence questionnaires
  • Monthly reporting to investors, consultants, platforms and research houses
  • Payment processing
  • Management fee reviews and rebate administration
  • Daily ASX monitoring and disclosures
  • Wholesale certificate register updates
  • Responding to investor queries
  • Driving process and risk improvements across the fund operations functions
  • Office administration support
  • Support year end process and regulatory reporting
  • Maintenance of policy and procedures

Business Development Assistance - 20%

  • Managing printing and postage of annual letter mailout
  • Preparation of monthly reports for distribution to investors
  • Maintenance of the website with updated fund information
  • Preparing competitor analysis reports
  • Supporting the distribution team with ad-hoc requests

Key skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment operations is desirable but not essential
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in working with AI tools
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in fund operations
