Role Title: Product Manager – Core Platforms

Security clearance: AU Citizenship with baseline clearance is mandatory

Location: Canberra preferred (2 days onsite -hybrid) / Remote (Australia wide - quarterly travel)

Start Date: 03 August 2026

Duration: Contract until 30 June 2027 with high possibility of extension.

Working Flexibility: Flexible but prefers Hybrid (2 days onsite, interstate quarterly travel)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager – Core Platforms to lead strategic product direction, define roadmaps, and drive outcomes across complex digital platforms. This role will act as a key liaison between Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring alignment across delivery, value realisation, and organisational priorities.

Working within a large-scale Change Program, you will own the product vision, prioritise initiatives, resolve competing demands, and ensure that platform investments deliver strong business, customer, and technical outcomes. You will engage closely with Agile Release Trains and senior leadership, driving improvements in platform capability, customer experience, and delivery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear product vision aligned to strategic business outcomes
• Own and continuously evolve the product roadmap based on business needs and customer insights
• Collaborate with business, delivery, and technical stakeholders to maximise product value
• Lead prioritisation activities and resolve competing demands across initiatives
• Coach Product Owners and Agile teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement across platform capability, performance, and customer experience
• Ensure alignment with architecture, compliance, and human-centred design principles

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Product Management within complex environments
• Background working as a Product Owner in Agile / SAFe delivery models
• Understanding of Digital Service Standards and modern product practices
• Proven ability to define product vision and manage lifecycle delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership capability
• Experience working across transformation or change programs
• Relevant Agile, SAFe, or Product Management certifications
