Registered Nurse

Competitive hourly rate of $37 - $45 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Tannum Family Practice.

About the Role

Working closely with our doctors, nurses and administration team, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across all aspects of general practice nursing.

Your responsibilities will include

• Immunisations including childhood, travel, employment and COVID vaccinations
• Patient triage and clinical assessments
• Wound management and dressing changes
• Infection prevention and infection control
• Sterilisation processes
• General treatment room nursing duties
• Cold chain management
• Supporting Chronic Disease Management activities and health assessments

About You

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an RN or EN
• Current CPR certification
• Current COVID-19 Vaccination status in accordance with healthcare requirements
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Experience working in a clinical nursing environment
• Full Australian working rights

The following would be highly regarded:

• Previous General Practice nursing experience
• Experience with immunisations and treatment room procedures
• Exposure to Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments
• Experience using Best Practice software
