Role Purpose & Environment
The Senior Data and Insights Analyst plays a critical role in Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) by transforming customer, campaign, and business data into actionable insights that drive marketing effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
The successful candidate will be naturally curious, analytical, and proactive in exploring the drivers behind performance, identifying opportunities, and translating findings into recommendations. They will combine strong technical capability with critical thinking and business understanding to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
Responsibilities-
Source, prepare and analyze data from multiple systems and platforms to support marketing, customer and business initiatives.
Measure and evaluate campaigns, personalized offers and customer lifecycle programs to assess performance and business impact.
Identify trends, drivers, risks and opportunities within complex datasets to uncover actionable insights.
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity by questioning results, investigating root causes and seeking to understand the customer and business implications behind the data rather than simply reporting outcomes.
Translate data into clear recommendations and actions that improve customer and business outcomes; whether through accessible dashboards or bespoke presentations.
Make the complex simple and tailor analytics to the audience in question (peers, manager or exec).
Assess and enhance existing reports, creating new, robust dashboards and visualizations that enable self-service and provide timely, accurate insights.Partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenge assumptions and deliver relevant, impactful analysis.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency across analysis and reporting activities.
Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies, measurement frameworks and ways of working.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align reporting to ensure consistency of metrics reported across broader functional teams (e.g. Product, Finance, BI).
Knowledge & Experience
Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with BI and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar).
Experience querying databases and working in SQL based environments.
Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g. Teradata, AWS, or similar).
Demonstrated ability to translate data into clear insights and visualisations, including charts, scorecards, and interactive dashboards.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
Selfâ€`motivated and comfortable managing tasks independently while balancing multiple priorities.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strong problemâ€`solving and critical thinking skills.
Comfortable working in a fast paced, high performance environment.
Experience with campaign analytics tools or customer management platforms (e.g. SAS, Pega, or similar) is advantageous but not required.
Telco industry experience would also be advantageous but not mandatory.
