We're Hiring for our client: Senior Network Engineer (Sydney, Australia)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading telecommunications environment, responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of carrier-grade IP networks supporting fixed broadband and 4G/5G mobile services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize Core IP/MPLS networks across backbone, aggregation, and edge layers.
• Deliver multi-vendor solutions leveraging Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper technologies.
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, QoS, and IPv6.
• Lead network design initiatives across 4G/5G mobile core, IP backbone, transmission, and data center environments.
• Perform capacity planning, traffic engineering, and network performance optimization.
• Drive network automation and provisioning using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Cisco NSO.
• Manage complex fault isolation and resolution across multi-domain network environments.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support for project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Telecommunications, ISP, or Carrier-grade Networking.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco, Nokia, and Juniper platforms.
• Deep understanding of Core IP, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, High Availability, and IPv6.
• Experience supporting fixed broadband and 4G/5G mobile networks.
• Strong troubleshooting, design, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, NRS/NRP, JNCIP/JNCIE are desirable.
