Role: Functional Analyst (SAP-EAM)
Experience: 6 – 15 years
Key Accountabilities Of This Role
- Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to establish detailed requirements for new initiatives (change requests) as directed by the Delivery Lead.
- Functional design of end-to-end SAP EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) processes across the Work Management lifecycle, including notification, work order management, planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting.
- Support the migration & upgrade of SAP landscapes from On-Premise S/4HANA v2021 to SAP RISE Private Cloud v2025 from an EAM Functional perspective.
- Configuration of SAP EAM functionality within S/4HANA, including Plant Maintenance (PM) and associated components.
- Support and optimization of planning and scheduling processes leveraging Prometheus Scheduler.
- Testing (unit, integration, UAT) of new and enhanced SAP EAM functionality.
- Development of functional specifications, solution design documentation, and business process flows.
- Support cross-functional streams, including Finance, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Health Safety & Environment (HSE).
- Ensure alignment of EAM solutions with asset management strategy and operational objectives.
- Contribute to training materials and knowledge transfer to business users and support teams.
- Implementation and ongoing improvement of SAP EAM integrations and related capabilities
Qualification and Certification
Desired
- SAP EAM (Plant Maintenance) Certification
- S/4HANA experience, including Fiori application design, configuration, and testing
- Experience with Prometheus Scheduler or similar advanced scheduling tools
- Experience with Maintenance Mobility Solutions
- Experience working with Agile delivery methods (including Jira & Confluence etc)
- Skills and experience required (subject to Hiring Manager needs)
- Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end SAP transformation projects from an EAM functional perspective.
- Strong S/4HANA experience, including both On-Premise and RISE environments.
- Deep SAP EAM expertise, including process design, solution architecture, and functional configuration.
- Experience with Prometheus Scheduler, including planning and scheduling process optimization
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of SAP Fiori applications within EAM contexts.
- Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong understanding of integration points across key SAP modules, including Finance (FI/CO), Materials Management (MM), and Inventory Management.
- Experience operating within complex, asset-intensive organisations (e.g. Utilities, Energy).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions
