About the role

We are seeking a Sample Preparer & Receivals Assistant to join our high-volume Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory in Bibra Lake on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy and consistency, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll play an important part in ensuring customer samples are received, processed and prepared for analysis while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and biosecurity.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, sort and process soil and plant samples from farming, agribusiness and research customers

Prepare samples for laboratory analysis through sieving and grinding activities

Accurately enter and manage sample information within laboratory systems

Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas

Comply with strict biosecurity, quarantine and laboratory procedures

Contribute to a safe, organised and productive work environment

Deliver high-quality work with a strong focus on accuracy and turnaround times
