Journey Early Learning has opened our second centre in Echuca West we’re looking for an exceptional Educational Leader to champion pedagogy and mentor our team. You’ll guide educators in delivering high-quality programs aligned with EYLF and NQS, drive continuous improvement, and create a culture where every child thrives.

About Our New Echuca West Centre

Licensed for 120 children across 8 rooms

Operating hours: 6:30am – 6:30pm

A purpose-built environment designed to support children, educators, and families

Strong focus on community connection and meaningful excursions

Your Role as Educational Leader

As our Educational Leader, you’ll be a cornerstone of the centre’s leadership team—empowering educators, inspiring innovation, and ensuring every child experiences the highest quality of care and learning. Your expertise will help create a collaborative, supportive culture where educators grow professionally and children thrive.

Fulltime or Permanent Part-time position across Monday to Friday.

What you’ll do

Inspire and mentor educators to deliver engaging, child-led programs that spark curiosity and creativity.

Lead reflective practice across the team, encouraging growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Use Storypark to document children’s learning in a way that is meaningful and professional.

Collaborate with the team to maintain consistent, high-quality practices throughout the centre.

Build strong, inclusive relationships with children to support their development and wellbeing.

Partner with families to foster open, honest communication and shared goals.

Guide the team to meet National Quality Standards (NQS) and deliver best-practice outcomes.

About you

Key skills and requirements

A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA recognised)

A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Law

Demonstrated ability to create and implement quality educational programs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Current First Aid, PR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates

Valid Working with Children Check
