We are seeking dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team in Newcastle West, NSW. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hospitality facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will contribute to the overall guest experience and uphold our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Change bed linens and towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
• Assist in the laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising to maintain health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning procedures is preferred.
• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
