We’re looking for a driven, personable sales professional who can build relationships and grow our customer base across the Bundaberg region. Whether your background is as a Business Development Manager, Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Territory Manager or technically-minded professional looking to move into sales, we’d love to hear from you.
Berendsen Fluid Power is Australia's largest locally owned hydraulics company, part of Questas Group, with branches across the country and more than 30 years in the industry. Our Bundaberg branch has been the region's trusted hydraulics partner for over 20 years, supporting mining, agriculture, transport, manufacturing and marine customers from Rockhampton and Gladstone down to Gympie, and the Fraser Coast to the Central Highlands.
About the Role
You'll own and grow the customer base across the Bundaberg region, building relationships with existing accounts while actively hunting new business across mining, agriculture, industrial and manufacturing sectors. You'll work closely with our workshop and technical teams to make sure customers get the right solution, whether that's a hydraulic component, a repair service, or a maintenance contract.

What You'll Be Doing
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the Bundaberg region and beyond
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and suppliers
- Developing sales strategies and campaigns to drive revenue growth
- Preparing and presenting proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs
- Working with our technical and workshop teams to scope the right solution for each customer
- Using CRM tools to track opportunities, pipeline and customer insights
- Representing Berendsen at customer sites, industry events, and in the community
- Project coordination and shutdown support
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own diary and pipeline
- A genuine interest in learning the technical side of hydraulics — we'll train you
- A current driver's licence
- Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, mining or agricultural sectors
