ZEROED is seeking a Technical Services Coordinator to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance and ongoing operation of specialised live fire training systems and firing range infrastructure across Australia. About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will coordinate and support technical services activities across system integration, installation, commissioning, maintenance and lifecycle support. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure systems are delivered, maintained and supported to the highest standards of quality, safety and operational performance.
You will play a key role in coordinating preventative maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining documentation and supporting customers to achieve reliable system outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating installation, commissioning and maintenance activities.
- Supporting fault finding and technical troubleshooting.
- Managing preventative maintenance and service schedules.
- Working closely with OEMs, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintaining accurate technical documentation and service records.
- Supporting project delivery, operational readiness and customer outcomes.
- Monitoring safety, quality and compliance requirements across service activities.
About You
You are a practical, customer focused technical professional who enjoys working in the field and solving complex technical challenges. You are comfortable working independently, managing competing priorities and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
You may come from a background in:
- Electronics
- Electrical systems
- Automation and control systems
- Communications technology
- Defence technical services
- Field service and maintenance environments
- Integrated technology systems support
To be successful, you will bring
- A Certificate IV, Diploma, trade qualification or equivalent industry experience in a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience in technical support, field service, maintenance or systems installation.
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
- The ability and willingness to travel nationally.
Desirable
- Australian Citizenship
- Experience within Defence, government or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of networking or IP based communications.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and service reporting systems.
- Current Defence Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one commitment to reliable technical service delivery.
