About the role
The Tennis Program & Operations Coordinator is the face of the Darwin International Tennis Centre “DITC” from a club and coaching operations perspective. This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day promotion and operations of all programs – from Pickleball, social tennis, to the kids’ Hot Shots program, and more.
The role is focused on driving the growth of Darwin International Tennis Centre through creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere and by applying their knowledge of the club pathway and offerings across tennis in the NT – in all personal interactions whether they are face-to-face, over the phone or online.
In this role you will:
Deliver tennis in a variety of environments across all levels e.g. school programs as well as adult lessons at DITC.
Be a welcoming, positive, and reliable representative for Tennis and other sports offered at the club.
Promote the DITC pathway and the products on offer for participants at all levels.
Oversee the administration of attendance and class billing, ensuring information is up to date and clearly communicated to customers.
Create and update content and marketing collateral for the club (posters, social media posts, web content).
Provide assistance during major DITC/Tennis NT events, e.g., staffing the café and assisting with general player services.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tennis Australia Trainee Coach qualification (or commitment to complete this)
Senior First Aid including CPR (or commitment to complete this)
Good understanding of the Australian tennis system, including Tennis Australia coaching pathways, Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis, and participation programs
Preparedness to support proactively across the Tennis NT team
Understanding of Tennis products and brands including racquets strings and accessories
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NT
