Chuck Media is producing a series of anti-bullying educational videos and is seeking a Junior/Mid-Level Graphic Designer to help assist in the creation the graphic design assets used to animate the series. Each finished asset will be handed off to a motion graphics artist for animation, so files need to be clean, well organised and animation-ready.

You’ll be working with our head designer and Motion Graphics team to create assets for the project. Working from their style guide, you will generate graphic elements, icons, backgrounds and characters to fill the volume of content we need to create.

We’re looking for someone who can work quickly! The project is a big one with some tight deadlines.

Scope of Work

The role covers assistance of design of assets for all 11 videos in the series:

• 8 x 2-minute videos
• 1 x 5-minute parent/teacher intro video
• 2 x 4-minute classroom videos

Total 31 mins

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation all graphic design assets (illustrations, characters, backgrounds, layouts, titles/lower-thirds, icons etc.) required to animate each of the 11 videos.
• Work from scripts and storyboards to translate concepts into clear, animation-ready visual assets.
• Develop and maintain a consistent visual style, colour palette and illustration language across the full series.
• Prepare and organise files (layered, vector-based, clearly named) ready for handoff to the motion graphics artist.
• Collaborate closely with the lead designer and motion graphics artist to ensure assets are structured for efficient, smooth animation.
• Incorporate feedback from the director and producers, turning around revisions quickly across the production schedule.

What We’re Looking For

• Junior to mid-level graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio of illustration, layout and visual design work.
• Experience preparing assets for animation (e.g., layered Illustrator/Photoshop files, vector artwork) is highly regarded.
• Ability to develop and hold a consistent visual style across a large body of related content.
• Comfortable designing for an educational audience, content that needs to land clearly for teachers, students and parents.
• Strong organisational skills and file structure with the ability to prepare clean, well-structured handoff packages for the motion graphics artist.
