About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Kitchen Assistant at Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill. This is a Casual position with shifts between Monday and Friday 0830-1600 / 1130-1830 / 1330-2000 . The hourly rate for this role starts from $28.00 to $29.69 plus 25% casual loading.

In this role you will work under the direction of our Chef, working alongside our team of Cooks Assistants, our Baker and other kitchen staff. You will be responsible mainly for loading the dishes (including small pots, pans, trays) into the dishwasher, maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, and be required to aide with any kitchen duties including the delivery of mealboxes and replenishing supplies in each unit.

As a Kitchen Hand washing dishes, this is a great opportunity to work in one of our largest retirement villages in Victoria! You'll be our go-to, making our dishes bright and sparkly!
