The Opportunity

Reporting into the Supply Chain team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw materials required to manufacture finished goods, helping us deliver exceptional customer service while optimising inventory levels.

Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you'll manage material requirements planning (MRP), monitor supply performance, identify potential risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support business performance.

  • Develop and execute material supply plans to support production requirements.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while balancing service, cost and working capital.
  • Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure raw materials are available when needed.
  • Identify supply risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure service and delivery expectations are met.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations teams to support production and customer requirements.
  • Support new product launches and product phase-outs by coordinating material availability.
  • Analyse planning data and trends to improve forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
  • Maintain planning master data, policies and ERP system accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a Materials Planning, Supply Planning or Production Planning role within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business or a related discipline.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as QAD (MFG Pro), Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
  • Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of MRP principles and inventory management.
  • Understanding of HACCP, GMP and Food Safety requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
