Registered Nurse Recovery/ PACU - Part-time

About The Role
We have a great opportunity for enthusiastic Recovery/ PACU Registered Nurses to join our clinical team on a part-time basis minimum 40hrs per fortnight.
Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, weekends, public holidays or trauma
Duties And Responsibilities
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Deliver evidence-based care: Monitor patient wellbeing and administer safe, high-quality treatment tailored to each stage of their hospital stay.
- Prepare for safe surgery: Ensure the facility, equipment and clinical environment are ready to support safe, efficient surgical care.
- Prioritise and monitor patient safety: Maintain clear team communication, assess patient progress, respond promptly to changes or complications, and keep patient safety central to all decisions.
- Support recovery at home: Provide clear education, guidance and reassurance so patients feel confident managing their recovery after discharge.
- Guide and support colleagues: Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift, fostering confidence, teamwork and safe practice.
- Champion improvement: Promote continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital.
About You
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience as a Recovery/ PACU nurse
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current ALS and PALS desirable but not essential we will train
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholders
- Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
