Cutover Manager

Key Competencies

• 6–8+ years of experience in SAP implementations or large ERP programs.

• Proven experience as a Cutover Manager in at least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP projects.

• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations, upgrades, or rollouts.

• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability

• High attention to detail under pressure (especially during cutover weekend)

• Ability to manage cross-functional teams in high-stakes environments

• Understanding of Integrated Systems/application of SAP & Non-SAP technologies

• Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).

• Experience with tools such as MS Project, JIRA

Planning

• Develop/Update, own the end-to-end cutover plan and approach for SAP implementations S/4HANA, SAP and non-SAP systems

• Define detailed cutover runbooks, timelines, and dependencies across functional and technical teams.

• Collaborate with program leadership to align cutover activities with overall deployment milestones.

Execution & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate all cutover activities across multiple workstreams (functional, technical, data migration, testing, infrastructure).

• Manage cut over run sheet during the cutover window.

• Facilitate war room / command centre activities during go-live.

• Coordinate cutover simulations and mock runs.

• Ensure business readiness, technical readiness, and operational readiness.

• Detailed runbook and execution checklist

• Risk and contingency plan

• Mock cutover execution reports

• Go-live readiness assessment

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (required)
