About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Solutions Implementation System Administrator to support the implementation, integration, and ongoing operation of critical Targeting Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering secure ICT environments, ensuring system stability, availability, and operational readiness while supporting mission-critical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Targeting Systems and supporting ICT environments.
• Support the implementation, integration, configuration, and ongoing operation of ICT solutions.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure secure and reliable operations.
• Perform system administration activities, including patch management, software updates, and environment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues while maintaining operational continuity.
• Support system upgrades, deployments, and configuration management activities.
• Ensure systems comply with organisational security policies and operational standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, security, and project teams to support system implementation and ongoing operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator within enterprise ICT environments.
• Strong experience in system administration, monitoring, and environment management.
• Experience performing system patching, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
• Knowledge of system monitoring tools and proactive operational support.
• Experience supporting secure, stable, and highly available ICT environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary technical teams.

Desirable Skills

• Experience supporting Defence or Government ICT environments.
• Experience working within secure or classified environments.
• Familiarity with ICT implementation and system integration projects.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and operational support practices.

Mandatory Requirements

• Active NV2 Security Clearance (Mandatory).
• Australian Citizenship.
